Facilities & Grounds Keeper

Primary duties involve cleaning in all areas of the facility, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and washing surfaces with appropriate products to restore those surfaces to clean, maintained condition. The person hired will empty all trash cans, consolidate trash for pickup, and will ensure all recycling programs and policies are implemented and followed. Duties also include maintaining the grounds, including cutting grass and trimming hedges; mulching; and sweeping sidewalks, parking lots and other exterior areas. Must also safely operate a variety of maintenance machinery, such as floor machines, buffers, vacuums, and exterior sweepers. The ideal candidate will possess minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and repair skills. Prior building and grounds maintenance experience is required. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a committment to creating and maintaining clean and esthetically-pleasing facilities and grounds to benefit employees' health and morale and to enhance the Company's community image.
