You Are We seek a seasoned Banking Industry Leader to advance our engagement with leading financial institutions. This executive role is pivotal in establishing Google Cloud as the go-to platform for banking's evolution, driving the adoption of advanced Data, AI, and innovative technologies. The Work You will assist banks in modernizing core systems, managing risk in real-time, combating financial crime, and enhancing customer experiences. The ideal candidate will possess deep credibility in the banking sector, a thorough understanding of regulatory complexities, and a powerful vision for how technology can reshape the future of finance securely and intelligently. Key Responsibilities Strategic Industry Leadership: As chief architect of Google Cloud's strategy for the global banking industry, you will understand the market landscape, from universal banks to digital-native neobanks. You will represent banking customers within Google, translating complex needs into actionable strategies for our teams. Financial Transformation and Innovation: You will serve as a peer-level advisor to C-suite executives at strategic banking clients, guiding their significant transformation initiatives and developing innovative, industry-specific solutions leveraging Google Cloud. Data, AI, and Risk Management: Champion the use of Google's Data and AI platforms to solve critical challenges within the banking industry, helping create unified data platforms and adopting AI for mission-critical use cases. Security, Compliance, and Trust: Lead Google Cloud's strategy to meet the stringent security and compliance mandates of financial regulators, demonstrating our commitment to security and building confidence among banks. Ecosystem and Thought Leadership: Build and nurture a world-class ecosystem of partners relevant to the banking sector, representing Google Cloud at major industry events and engaging with influential analysts. Travel may be required for this role, varying from 0 to 100% depending on business needs. Here's what you need Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years). If you have an Associate's Degree, you must have a minimum of 6 years' work experience. At least 15 years in a senior leadership role within the banking industry or as a technology leader serving the banking sector. Minimum of 7 years of expertise in banking operations, financial products, risk management, and the global regulatory landscape. A minimum of 7 years of proven experience leading large-scale technology transformation programs in a banking context. Bonus Points if You Have An MBA or other advanced degree. Direct experience with public cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud) and their application to financial services. Success deploying AI/ML solutions for critical banking functions. Extensive network connections with executives in major banks, regulators, and FinTech companies. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to advise senior banking executives. Compensation at Accenture varies based on factors including location, role, skill set, and experience. Salary ranges for this position are available in different regions.
