Anesthesiology Physician

Facility near Harrisburg, PA seeking locums Surgery Center coverage Rates: $400/hr Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (some shifts may go later) Start Date: October 13, 2025 (Urgent Coverage Needed) Responsibilities: Supervise up to four operating rooms with CRNAs. Work independently in an OR as needed. Perform anesthesia for a variety of cases, including ophthalmology (cataract, retina), GI (colonoscopy), ENT (T&A, BMT), plastic surgery, orthopedics, and more. Work with a rapid turnover of cases. One physician is required to stay until the last patient leaves the facility. Current Coverage Needs (Dates): October 10, 2025 October 13, 2025 October 16, 2025 October 17, 2025 October 24, 2025 Requirements: Credential: MD or DO Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible License: Active Pennsylvania state medical license required to apply. IMLC candidates will be considered. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Other: DEA license required Practice Information: Adult Percentage: 90% Pediatric Percentage: 10% EMR: Paper charting Privileges: Full and temporary privileges available (7-day credentialing process)
