About the Role We invite you to become part of our remote pharmacy team, where you can wield your clinical skills from the comfort of your home. In this role, you will engage in remote order entry while allowing hospitals to focus on dispensing, resulting in a collaborative environment. Enjoy the flexibility of a 7on/7off overnight schedule, empowering you to concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care. Your Responsibilities: Conduct remote order entry and evaluate CPOE orders for accuracy. Ensure all pharmacy staff licenses are current and valid. Step in as a staff pharmacist when necessary. Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient care. Provide clinical medication dosing services. Monitor patient profiles and lab results to ensure therapeutic effectiveness. Coordinate medication access in accordance with facility policies and relevant laws. Qualifications: A Texas pharmacy license in good standing; licenses from OK and WY are also preferred. 2-4 years of clinical inpatient hospital experience preferred. Ability to obtain additional state licenses as necessary. Proficient in pharmacy information systems. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams. Your Contribution: Utilize your knowledge to manage and perform a variety of tasks effectively. Contribute to projects that have moderate scope and complexity. Proactively identify and implement solutions to technical challenges. Exercise sound judgment within established guidelines. Work with general guidance, receiving detailed instructions for new initiatives. Ensure accuracy in all tasks. Compensation: The anticipated hourly pay range is $48.70 to $69.60 dependent on experience.
