Description: We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our medical surgical team. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in this specialty. IV Certification is required for this role. The position involves working night shifts of 12 hours. The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. Typical patient diagnoses include CHF, AKI, and electrolyte imbalances. Team nursing is utilized, and the ratio is 1:7 with support from other nursing staff. Floating to like units may occur within the organization but is rare. Candidates must be open to working on weekends and holidays if needed. Candidates must not have previously worked in the facility as an internal staff member in the last year.
