Role Overview: As a Shift Supervisor, you will support the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) by independently managing shifts and ensuring smooth operations. Take initiative in problem-solving, collaboratively seek assistance when needed, and offer support and guidance to your team. Key Responsibilities: Ensure Consistent Customer Satisfaction: Follow the MIC Success Routine to complete tasks related to People, Customers, and Service. Supervise Team Member Shift Excellence: Ensure all team members perform their assigned duties effectively. Maintain Professional Appearance: Ensure all employees present themselves neatly in full company uniform. Prioritize Customer Needs: Exhibit a customer-first attitude, ensuring food safety, quality, and order accuracy. Resolve Customer Complaints: Handle issues swiftly to uphold positive customer relations. Foster Teamwork: Collaborate with both management and team members to create an efficient working environment. Team Development: Provide Feedback: Regularly update the RGM on team member performance. Engage in Training: Actively participate in the training and development of team members. Facilitate Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts constructively to find effective solutions. Ownership of Operations: Assist in Financial Management: Aid in managing profits, controlling cash, and maintaining inventory effectively. Ensure Quality Control: Oversee food preparation processes to ensure compliance with standards. Support Facility Maintenance: Work with the RGM to maintain a clean and safe environment. Perform Additional Duties: Complete various tasks as assigned by the manager. Job Requirements: Preference for internal promotion from Hourly Champion position. Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation is necessary. Basic business math skills required. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, clean the facility, and maintain kitchen areas. Demonstrates a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards fellow employees. Satisfactory background check clearance. Attendance Expectations: Comply with the posted work schedule, reporting on time in uniform ready to work. Utilize the approved timekeeping system diligently. Drive and Energy: Proactively take initiative, exceed basic requirements, and maintain high energy levels during shifts. This position averages 30+ hours weekly, with hours varying based on business needs. Job duties may evolve based on operational requirements.
