Job Summary The Transportation Department at JEO specializes in street, highway, trail, and bridge engineering services. As a Senior Project Manager for Transportation, you will take the lead on various activities, including business development, client relationship management, project management, and delivering successful projects for our esteemed municipal clients. This includes major cities and first-class communities across Kansas. You'll be supported by a dedicated team of professionals all working towards exceeding client expectations while achieving JEO's financial objectives. Responsibilities and Duties Develop project proposals, scopes of services, and cost estimates for a wide range of municipal project types. Lead interview teams during significant project pursuits. Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, funding proposals, and quality control plans for key municipal roadway design projects. Oversee the execution and completion of complex municipal street projects, with occasional involvement in KDOT projects. Guide, mentor, and lead project teams to meet client expectations effectively. Actively participate in the career development and growth of team members. Forge and maintain strong client relationships; the ideal candidate will bring existing client connections to enhance JEO’s network. Efficiently manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license. 15+ years of experience in the engineering sector focusing on municipal transportation projects. A strong passion for teamwork and delivering impactful results for our municipal clients.
