Your Role: As a PRN Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the nutritional needs of our patients and residents. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the quality of life and health of those you serve while working in a supportive environment. Your Responsibilities: Provide nutritional expertise and education to patients, residents, staff, and consultants. Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards and facility regulations. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement policies and procedures related to nutrition and dining services. Engage in continuous improvement programs for the quality of nutrition services. What We're Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or a related field. Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field. Successful completion of a national examination from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meeting the Academy's eligibility criteria. 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with the CDR guidelines. State licensure or certification as required. Knowledge about regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and resident rights. Ability to educate others on nutrition and dietetics. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare or long-term care settings. Work Environment: You will be located within Cura Hospitality accounts in Pennsylvania.
