Previous Bookkeeping or customer service/call center experience preferred. You will help to reconcile and balance Deposit and Cash items, answer customer inquiries by phone, mail or internet, and research and resolve problem accounts and disputes, etc. To be successful, you will need to stay up to date on key regulations and bank policies. This also comes with an Employee Assistance Program.One Hour Paid LunchMonthly Gym Membership ReimbursementPaid time off: Holidays, Vacation, Sick and Personal LeaveReduced and Free Bank Services for EmployeesReferral programTuition reimbursement: For Banking Related Courses Taken While Employed Job duties:Responsible for daily reconcilement of DDA, Savings, Christmas Club Accounts, Safe Deposit Box Balancing, Cash Items, Suspense Account, Overdraft Defender, VISA Debit Cards, Savings Bonds sold and redeemed, Safe Deposit Box closing and customer billing, processing overdrafts, stop payments, hold customer & employee statements, answers customer inquires by phone, mail or internet, credit ratings on DDA and Savings by mail, researches and resolves problem accounts, balances, checkbooks, SSA, SSA & Medicaid verification, maintains bank and customer account information. Provides management with reports as requested. Job Skills: Excellent communications and telephone skills required.Works well with public and co workers required. Operation of fax machine, adding machine, copier, postage machines, printer and typewriter required.Basic computer skills required.Knowledge and understanding of government rules and regulations pertaining to deposit accounts and bank policies and procedures for deposit accounts.Good grammar and letter writing skills.This position will comply with the Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA), the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the USA PATRIOT ACT (CIP), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), including reporting suspicious activities to the BSA Department as well as other banking and company regulations and rules.All other duties as assigned.
