POSITION SUMMARY: Join BBQ Holdings as an Accounts Payable Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing and troubleshooting the Accounts Payable function. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Code, enter, and dispatch invoices for timely approval through our workflow system. Review and post batches of invoices accurately. Ensure timely processing of vendor payments. Organize and maintain records by filing, scanning, and uploading invoices as required. Reconcile invoices with vendor statements, addressing any discrepancies. Engage in discussions with vendors and internal team members to resolve issues promptly. Utilize established procedures to make decisions regarding missing information or unusual data. Maintain precise Accounts Payable records for 1099 purposes. Keep the accounts payable lead updated on the status of unresolved issues. Assist with various miscellaneous projects as directed by your supervisor. Carry out any additional duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (Required or Preferred): Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Proficient computer skills. Familiarity with Accounts Payable/general ledger software is preferred (experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus). Skills/Competencies: Exceptional administrative and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal abilities and capability to work independently or in a team environment. Effective communication skills at all organizational levels. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to juggle responsibilities across multiple brands. Self-motivated and proactive. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Understanding of basic accounting principles. Strong written and verbal communication capabilities to interface with different levels of vendors and internal staff. Willingness to work extended hours as required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: In this role, you will frequently move throughout the workplace, sit, use hands for manipulation, reach, and communicate verbally. You may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and you'll require specific vision abilities, including close, distance, and color vision, as well as depth perception.
