Job Description: Position Details: Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday Night, starting at 7 PM, with shifts varying based on route. Enjoy two turns per night. Home daily! Route: Operate from Rogers, MN to various domicile locations and back, five nights per week. Competitive Salary: Average annual compensation of $70,000. Position Overview: As a Food and Food Service Delivery Driver, you play a vital role in maintaining the nation’s food supply chain. Your mission is to deliver customers’ products safely and on time, acting as the face of our company and fostering lasting customer relationships! The Class A CDL Shuttle Driver is responsible for operating a tractor-trailer (day cab/sleeper), tandem trailer, or straight trucks on various routes, including intrastate and interstate, to effectively handle logistics-related loads while observing all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Traveling to designated supplier/vendor and/or Performance Foodservice warehouse locations according to a set delivery schedule. Routes may include local and/or over-the-road options, with layovers as needed. Delivering loads back to Performance Foodservice warehouses for inventory receipt, ensuring timely pickups and correct products are loaded. Conducting thorough inspections of loads and paperwork, including product counts, invoices, and quality checks. Completing all required paperwork related to backhaul operations accurately and legibly. Regularly communicating with your direct supervisor regarding route, load, and schedule confirmations. Report any issues regarding load drop-offs or schedule changes, and ensure all equipment is secured at the end of your shift. Performing other related duties as assigned to best support the company’s objectives. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. Valid Class A CDL required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Compliance with all state licensing and certification requirements. Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years. Successful completion of post-offer drug test and criminal background check. Pass a driving road test. Possess or be able to obtain a valid DOT Health Card. Able to lift and handle varying weight products (typically between 10-90 pounds) using necessary equipment like a two-wheeler or lift gate throughout your shift.
