These settings can include single or multi-family homes, assisted living facilities, independent living spaces, and memory care environments. Your role will involve evaluating and treating patients dealing with challenges such as language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those in need of alternative or augmentative communication supports. Many of our patients may have experienced a stroke or are living with progressive conditions such as Parkinson's disease and dementia. Qualifications Valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance. Dependable transportation in good working condition that is suitable for all weather conditions. Currently licensed as an SLP in your state of employment. Commitment to maintaining seatbelt use while driving.
