Join a dedicated healthcare team providing personalized, high-quality patient care in a telemetry nursing role. You will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans while maintaining accurate medical records. Essential Functions Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care for patients of all ages, including newborns and children in specialized units. Encourage patient independence by setting care goals and involving patients and families in discussions about medical issues, testing, medications, and self-care. Monitor patients' physical, mental, and emotional status, reporting changes as needed. Provide direct patient care and support as part of the healthcare team. Mentor and train new staff and students. Adhere to privacy and security regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). Demonstrate unit-specific competencies within a reasonable orientation period and ongoing. Minimum Knowledge and Skills Basic nursing principles application. Effective communication skills. Keyboarding and basic computer proficiency. Ability to multitask and prioritize. BSN strongly preferred. Previous nursing experience is advantageous. Licensure and Certification Current Registered Nurse licensure in the relevant state. Healthcare Provider BLS certification through AHA or ARC within 30 days of start date.
