KPMG is seeking a Federal Contracts Specialist to be a part of our Enterprise Contracting Center: Federal Government team. Key Responsibilities: Support the management of a diverse portfolio of federal contracts including GSA Federal Supply Schedules, Multiple Award Schedules, GWACS, and IDIQs. Assist with ongoing reporting, fee remittance, audit preparation, and administrative modifications (e.g., Authorized Negotiator, SIN additions, Rate adjustments). Maintain the GSA Schedule catalog and related documentation. Draft contractual agreements and other documentation under the guidance of senior team members, following firm policies and procedures. Keep accurate and formal contract records; identify processing issues proactively and recommend solutions or escalate as necessary. Explore and propose innovative improvements for workflows that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness. Foster effective communication with internal teams such as Finance and the Office of General Counsel, as well as with external clients. Uphold KPMG's standards of integrity, professionalism, and responsibility to maintain a respectful work environment. Qualifications: A minimum of one year of recent experience in customer service or contract administration, preferably in a large IT or professional services environment. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience; high school diploma or GED required. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment with strong organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. A general understanding of contract management processes is preferred, particularly with GSA Schedule experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong reading comprehension and critical thinking capabilities; ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work independently as needed. Salary determination is based on relevant experience, skills, job responsibilities, and market factors.
