The Geo Group - - Responsibilities: Conducts pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip inspections of all vehicles operated.; Provides written Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) at end of each trip or shift and reports safety defects.; Ensures permits and licenses are in order before beginning a trip and notifies Transportation Manager if there are problems.; Ensures detainees are properly secured and paperwork is accurate when obtaining and delivering detainees.; Maintains safety measures and compliance with laws and procedures at all times during transportation.
