Boccard Life Sciences, industrial integrator, located in 35 countries, designs, manufactures, assembles, and installs process solutions for its customers worldwide in the Food & Ingredients, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and Brewing Industries.FabricatorThe Fabricator is responsible for the precision assembly, preparation, and layout of hygienic process piping, D1.1 Structural steel and equipment used in regulated environments such as food, pharmaceutical, and other life sciences sectors. Working from technical drawings, isometric diagrams, and project specifications, the Fabricator ensures that all components meet stringent quality, safety, and cleanliness standards, including compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), ASME BPE guidelines, and internal quality systems. This role plays a critical part in the successful execution of projects by producing high-purity assemblies that meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. The Fabricator contributes to the integrity and reliability of process systems that are essential for the manufacturing of safe, sterile, and high-quality products.Position Functions:Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to measure, cut, thread, groove, and weld pipes to exact specificationsResponsible for tools, components, and work area cleanlinessDocument work progress and complete required paperwork, including material usage and inspection reportsIdentify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisorOperate power tools, pipe cutters, threading machines and other material handling equipment safely and efficientlyAssist in the packaging of raw materials for fabrication work packages of sanitary piping and stainless steel structural shapes utilizing SOP and client specificationsAssemble stainless steel piping systems and sanitary fittings using isometric drawingsPrioritize fabrication tasks based on the production schedule and supervisor guidanceComply with safety, environmental, and contamination control proceduresUse PPE appropriate to cleanroom or controlled environmentsProperly segregate and dispose of waste according to life sciences protocolsInform supervisor of deviations, incidents, or equipment malfunctionsFollow Boccard Management System (BMS) guidelines, health and safety procedures, and quality system policiesRequirements:High School Diploma required. Technical or vocational training in welding or mechanical assembly preferred.Experience:Minimum 1 year experience in fabrication in a regulated field such as food, hygienic or pharmaceutical-grade piping systems, biotech, or in other sectors as a structural/pipe fitter with stainless steel.Skills and Abilities:Versatility and strong willingness to learn and perform more than assigned tasks Ability to work autonomously and complete tasks without constant supervisionAttention to detail and cleanlinessAbility to work with stainless steel and sanitary fittingsBasic understanding of P&IDs, ASME BPE and GMP guidelinesExcellent organizational skills and manual dexterityStrong team spirit and punctualityThis job requires standing, lifting, repetitive motions, and long static postures for prolonged periods. Precision-focused work with adherence to quality and GMP procedures.
