Washington Regional Urgent Care is seeking skilled ARRT Radiology and Limited License X-Ray Technologists to join our dedicated team! JOB SUMMARY: In this role, you will be responsible for conducting x-ray tests while utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and physiology. You'll operate diagnostic equipment, develop films, prepare procedure rooms with necessary supplies, and perform various Medical Assistant duties. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: While this list outlines primary responsibilities, additional tasks may be assigned as necessary. Warmly greet patients entering the waiting area, exam rooms, and x-ray rooms. Maintain clear communication with patients regarding wait times and guide them through their treatment process. Identify solutions to patient concerns and seek assistance in emergencies or hazardous situations. Conduct follow-up calls with urgency. Support front desk personnel with patient check-in/out when required. Accurately document patient vital signs, weight, brief history, and pertinent medical information. Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision. Adhere to documentation protocols related to patient visits. Perform radiology procedures in a timely manner for physician evaluation and treatment. Ensure quality control procedures are followed for optimal exam quality. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and comply with safety regulations regarding radiation protection and shielding techniques. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the Manager or on-duty provider. Continually enhance your diagnostic imaging skills and knowledge through available educational resources. Maintain current licensure and certification for the facility's radiology equipment. WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE? Full-time team members will work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled as needed. WHAT'S REQUIRED? High school diploma or equivalent, BLS Certification, AR State X-Ray License, ARRT Certification preferred, and experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
