Heavy Civil Project Manager The Opportunity Join a leading Heavy Civil Contractor and take the reins on exciting public and private infrastructure projects. As a key executive leader, you will have full ownership of complex civil scopes, ensuring safety, quality, budget adherence, and timely delivery from project initiation to final completion. Core Expertise Required We are looking for a Project Manager with a proven record in essential areas for the California market, including: Heavy Civil Infrastructure: Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects such as mass excavation, grading, utilities (water/sewer/drainage), and paving. Transportation Projects: Familiarity with major roadway construction and rehabilitation; Caltrans experience is a plus. Complex Foundation/Site Work: Proven experience overseeing structural components, shoring, deep trenching, and ground stabilization efforts. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have a successful history managing large-scale and complex civil projects with a strong emphasis on: 5+ years of progressive project management experience in heavy civil construction, particularly within Southern California. Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-discipline heavy civil contracts and lead project teams effectively. Expertise in project controls, including financial forecasting, procurement, risk management, and scheduling. A proactive leader capable of mentoring field staff while maintaining open communication with clients, engineers, and regulatory agencies (e.g., Caltrans, regional municipalities).
