Delivery Driver for Parts

Job Title: Delivery Driver for Parts Position Responsibilities: Safely pick, stage, and deliver parts to professional customers. Collect and process returns and cores. Distribute sales flyers while promoting current deals and loyalty programs. Conduct daily collections of credit accounts. Foster and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing valuable insights during deliveries. Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to maximize transaction value. Keep the store clean and organized, including floors, bathrooms, and outdoor areas. Perform general stocking tasks, including truck stocking and inventory counts. Stay informed about product inventory and new arrivals to better assist with sales. Engage with walk-in customers to determine their needs and recommend suitable parts or services. Execute other assigned duties as needed. Success Factors: Strong commitment to safe driving and navigation. Familiarity with delivery board systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to locate and stock parts effectively. Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices. Experience with inventory systems and store equipment. Sales oriented with a strong focus on customer service. Capability to identify customer needs and suggest solutions. Essential Job Skills: Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus), with strong communication skills to build relationships. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Proficient in basic math skills for accurate calculations. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products. Willingness to learn about new products and improve sales techniques. Prior Experience: Automotive parts experience is preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Certifications: A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is a must. Physical Demands: Job involves predominantly walking or standing. Includes talking, hearing, and handling parts. Must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance. Requires specific vision abilities, including close and distance vision. Work Environment: While primarily working indoors, tasks may occasionally involve outdoor exposure to various weather conditions. Work may also require exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical risks, and noise levels that are typically moderate.
