We are in search of an energetic and motivated Fitness Program Leader who possesses a passion for fitness, sales, and helping others reach their health and wellness objectives. This role involves working closely with club members, scheduling appointments, and building lasting relationships while driving personal training package sales and mentoring a team of personal trainers. Position Purpose: You will lead a cohesive Personal Training (PT) team, maintaining a healthy client pipeline and ensuring all members receive an exceptional fitness experience. Responsibilities: Achieve monthly sales targets to foster membership growth and surpass goals related to new personal training agreements, client retention, and overall revenue generation. Collaborate with the membership sales team to enhance new member onboarding and sales initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition into the club experience. Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members, including Personal Training Managers, Assistant Fitness Managers, and Personal Trainers. Manage payroll for Assistant Fitness Managers and Personal Trainers, ensuring timely and accurate compensation. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures clearly to all department leaders and staff to ensure understanding of roles and responsibilities. Verify that all fitness staff hold necessary certifications and training such as CPR, First Aid, and accredited personal trainer certifications. Provide constructive feedback on staff performance using clear language to highlight strengths and areas for improvement. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. Engage members in a friendly manner, actively listening to their needs and providing clear responses. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring appropriate certifications and protocols are implemented. Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment and common areas. In emergencies or unexpected disruptions, communicate clearly with staff and members to ensure their safety. Qualifications: 2 years of management experience; prior fitness or personal training management is a plus. 3-4 years of customer service experience. Personal training sales experience is highly preferred. Demonstrated interest or experience in the fitness industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders. Excellent relationship building and influencing capabilities with individuals at all levels. High attention to detail; systematic approach to problem-solving; strong time management and organization skills. Proficient in MS Office. Above all, a candidate who embodies our Core Values! Requirements: Must pass a background check successfully. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Must have a valid personal training certification. Previous sales experience is required. Ability to work in a gym environment, moving about club floors and communicating professionally. Skills to access and operate the company’s computer systems effectively. Able to bend routinely and lift over 40 lbs. Compensation and Benefits: Variable income opportunities such as commissions and bonuses. Post-training salary increase.
