In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including the repair, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components. Your Responsibilities: Utilize hand and power tools, precision measurement tools, and electronic testing devices effectively. Ensure the safe operation of machinery, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Interpret blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, and engineering specifications. Troubleshoot equipment problems using observation and precision measuring tools. Conduct boiler chemical and wastewater pre-treatment system testing, recording results and making necessary adjustments. Perform safety checks on boilers, addressing any necessary repairs. Record and analyze meter readings of utilities and take corrective actions as needed. Conduct daily and weekly safety checks on systems and follow up on any issues. Inspect and maintain motors, belts, fluid levels, and perform other routine maintenance tasks. Clean and lubricate equipment parts according to standard procedures. Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System effectively. Assist with additional tasks assigned by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. A two-year technical degree in a related field is preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. A valid driver's license with a safe driving record is required. Familiarity with maintenance equipment is essential. A minimum of 6 months of experience in repairing industrial processing equipment within a production environment is required, military experience may be considered. Passing UniFirst's maintenance knowledge assessment test is a prerequisite for employment. The ability to read blueprints and schematics is required. Must be able to read and understand maintenance literature in English. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, are necessary. Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures is mandatory. Willingness to work overtime when needed. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
