Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: 2 years of recent experience required EPIC experience is required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (prior to assignment) Nurse to patient ratios 1:4-5 Must have experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias O2 protocol management and non-invasive airway management Management of drips and peripheral line care/management Central line care/management and blood product administration Isolation precaution/PPE and computerized documentation Rapid response team activation experience Fast-paced environment due to quick turnover in admissions and discharges Primary department for Bariatric Surgery and Urology patients (typically 24-48 hour stays) Medical patients with short stays (3-6 days) with various diagnoses 11 beds close Friday 7pm and reopen Monday 7am, requiring heavier weekday staffing Float to different units may be required License in hand or compact required at submission Must be more than 75 miles from facility to be eligible as traveler Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 30-bed telemetry unit that provides specialized care for bariatric surgery and urology patients, as well as general medical patients. The unit offers a fast-paced learning environment with quick patient turnover and a wide variety of patient diagnoses, typically resulting in successful outcomes.
