We are seeking a board-certified Hematologist for a 240-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This outpatient medical oncology opportunity begins on Mar 2, 2026, and features a Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm schedule with no call. The ideal candidate will provide expert care across both hematology and oncology, serving adult and geriatric patients in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Job Details Location: Indiana Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 LOA: 240 days Provider Type Needed: Hematologist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; no call Responsibilities and Duties Manage VAD/CV catheters and perform bone marrow biopsies Participate in a tumor board for coordinated patient care Oversee bone marrow transplant management Order and interpret diagnostic tests and images Prescribe appropriate treatments and therapies Manage blood bank ordering and utilization Administer chemotherapy in conjunction with nursing staff Provide care for adult and geriatric oncology and hematology patients Additional Information Must hold an active Indiana medical license Board certification in Medical Oncology required (AMBS/AOA) Demonstrated competency in both hematology and oncology required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience in outpatient medical oncology settings preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
