The City of Birmingham (EOE) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated applicants interested in landscaping or horticulture for the entry-level position of Seasonal Parks Laborer. This position is an excellent introduction to those looking to develop their interest in Public Services, as well as a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to improve their trade skills and abilities, or to gain a part-time position for the season.Under the direct supervision of the Parks and Recreation Manager, seasonal laborers work in various City parks and athletic fields, ensuring the grounds look great for the summer. They play a vital role in making Birmingham a great place to live, work, and play!Requirements Interested candidates must be able to work outdoors in a maintenance capacity.Prior Parks and Recreation or Landscaping, or golf course experience is a plus. Pay Range $15.99 - $21.05 per hour, depending on qualifications
