Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Job Details:• Work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM• Patient ratio of 5:1 across all shifts• Every other weekend requirement• May float to other departments based on unit needs• No call requirements• Holiday coverage as needed• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract• 36 hours of orientation provided• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, MENDS (AHA or ARC only)• EPIC charting system experience required• Pennsylvania nursing license required with no license hits accepted• Care for patients with hip fractures, osteomyelitis, cellulitis, acute kidney injury, pneumonia, bowel obstructions, and general medical/surgical conditions• Handle total joint arthroplasties and spinal fusions• Work with specialized equipment including bucks traction and telemetry monitors• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility environment• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)• May care for COVID patients when needed Facility:This healthcare facility operates a 24-bed medical/surgical unit with a daily census of 20 patients, providing comprehensive care for adult patients with various medical and surgical conditions.
