We are seeking a skilled Computer Systems Engineer - Pega Specialist to join our team in support of the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) at the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington DC. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions, providing essential operational support to the program. You will engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will be part of a technical support team responsible for building and maintaining the enterprise PEGA infrastructure, reviewing and implementing patches and upgrades, while also ensuring thorough and precise documentation of all supported environments. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with 4-8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in the same fields with 2-6 years of relevant experience. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass FAA security screening for positions of Public Trust. Previous experience in business system solution development using Pegasystems (Pega) software. 4+ years in building, managing, and supporting Pega operating systems and application platforms. 4+ years of involvement in Pega upgrade and patching activities. 4+ years of support experience with Pega applications. Strong critical thinking skills for effective troubleshooting. In-depth knowledge of Pega Application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, and other Pega OOTB tools. Familiarity with web technologies, including languages and frameworks like .Net or Java. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the Federal Government environment. Familiarity with FAA tools and systems, such as FRAMES, Delphi, PRISM, RPFMT, REPM.
