Overview: As an Inventory and Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our vehicle inventory, ensuring seamless operations from receiving to shipping. Key Responsibilities: - Execute defined processes for vehicle zone maintenance, receiving, shipping, and inventory scanning. - Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with your team. - Assist in training new associates under guidance. - Provide outstanding service to all customers. - Ensure daily lot maintenance and security, keeping display areas and work zones organized. - Securely receive incoming vehicles and prep vehicle and title packets for outbound shipping. - Accurately scan vehicles to maintain product status. - Wash and vacuum customer returns and loaner vehicles, and maintain lot cleanliness. - Conduct the Photo Station process and drive vehicles for repairs/storage. - Support auction processes as needed. - Maintain workplace organization following CarMax 5S standards. - Complete additional duties as assigned by management. Requirements: - Valid driver's license, meeting CarMax standards. - Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data. - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Capability to execute established processes. - Must complete required workstation certifications and training. - Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely. Work Conditions: - Work will be indoors and outdoors, occasionally in noisy or inclement weather. - Flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Walking or standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment is required. - Adherence to CarMax's professional appearance standards is mandatory. The hourly rate for this position is: $23.94 - $23.94 Benefits: At CarMax, full-time associates are entitled to: - Up to 48 hours of paid sick time annual, accrued per pay period. - Vacation time ranging from 80 to 200 hours per year, based on tenure, after a 90-day waiting period. - Paid holidays with 8 hours compensation for up to six holidays, plus one floating holiday.
