Drive Test Specialist

Job Summary and Responsibilities The Drive Test Specialist will play a critical role in executing mobile and stationary RF testing to ensure optimal wireless network performance. This position is key to supporting our engineering teams by gathering essential field data to enhance coverage, capacity, and quality of service for advanced 5G technologies. This role requires 100% travel. This position will involve working throughout various states including MN, VT, NE, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC, and VA. Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct Drive Testing: Utilize drive test equipment such as TEMS Pocket, X-CAL, and QXDM in vehicles or on foot to collect RF data across specific routes and clusters. Execute Speed Tests as required. Data Collection & Upload: Capture logs for RSRP, SINR, PCI, throughput, and scanner data, ensuring timely uploads to centralized servers for post-processing and validation. Adhere to naming conventions for test files. Reporting: Maintain clear communication with Circet and client contacts throughout the process, and escalate issues as necessary. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications are a plus. Strong familiarity with wireless technologies including LTE, VoLTE, CDMA, 5G, MIMO, and Carrier Aggregation is preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience in RF testing or similar field technician roles. Experience with DAS, small cells, or CRAN installations is an advantage. Proficient computer skills are essential. Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including weekends. Availability to work overtime as needed.
