We strive to provide exceptional care that is reflected in our high ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) using their Stars quality rating system, which assesses Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans based on around 40 performance measures, including preventive care, health condition management, patient experience, and operational efficiency. The Senior Program Delivery Professional role focuses on developing programs and strategies that empower providers, vendors, and Humana associates to effectively understand and implement Stars improvement strategies. This includes reporting performance outcomes to ensure that our Medicare Advantage members receive top-quality care and achieve optimal health outcomes. We seek a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills. The Senior Program Delivery Professional reports directly to the Director of Stars Improvement and is responsible for creating programs that foster value-based relationships, collaborating with leadership on implementation planning, and communicating results effectively. This Position Involves Collaboration And Partnership With: Corporate and Regional Stars leaders and teams Enterprise Partners Value-Based Strategies Team External Vendors Strategic Provider Communications Key Objectives Include: Lead the development and launch of new Provider Practice Optimization Guides for both specialist and primary care practices. Translate Stars requirements into actionable workflows and effective tools for providers. Create guidance and educational resources for physicians and practice staff to enhance Stars performance. Design scalable communication plans and templates. Tell the Stars story by sharing insights on performance, initiatives, and strategy updates with enterprise partners. Utilize Your Skills to Make a Significant Impact Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of healthcare experience Knowledge of Stars, clinical quality workflows, and provider practice operations Proven track record of successful collaboration and project management Strong presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels Experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in business administration or related field Familiarity with Power BI, Stars dashboards, or related data processes Understanding of contracting or value-based specialty programs PMP certification (preferred) Strong analytical abilities Experience with process improvement initiatives Work-At-Home Requirements: Self-provided internet must meet a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps; wired, cable, or DSL connections are recommended. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections are permitted only with leadership approval. Home-based employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota are eligible for bi-weekly internet expense reimbursement. Humana provides appropriate telephone equipment to meet business needs. Work must be conducted in a dedicated, quiet space to protect member PHI and comply with HIPAA regulations. Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required for this remote position. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: The starting base pay for this full-time position ranges from $86,300 to $118,700 per year, based on skills, knowledge, experience, and education.
