As a vital member of a dynamic FedRAMP team, you will provide comprehensive analytical and advisory support to our clients and Cloud Service Providers (CSPs). Your responsibilities will include performing pre-assessment activities by thoroughly analyzing the technology stacks integral to vendor solutions. An advanced understanding of designing secure, compliant, and resilient architectures is essential. This position is 100% remote, promoting a high level of trust in our employees, with strict adherence to our Remote Work Policy. Required Experience: Five (5) years of experience in IT Security. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or an additional three years of IT experience. Four (4) years of hands-on technical experience in roles such as System Architect or Security Engineer. Experience supporting FedRAMP for four (4) years. Preferably hold Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent certification. Direct experience performing detailed analyses of FedRAMP CSP architectures and control implementations as an Engineer or Architect. Proven ability and confidence to lead discussions with potential Vendors. Current experience in reviewing third-party security assessment reports. Thorough knowledge of NIST Policies, Governance, Security Planning and Architecture, FISMA Compliance, RMF, Incident Analysis, and General Security Best Practices. Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective interaction with customers, stakeholders, peers, and the public. Ability to articulate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication skills for engaging with senior managers, junior staff, and non-technical business customers. Responsibilities: Conduct detailed architecture and technical design reviews for vendor solutions. Perform architecture reviews of Cloud Service Providers' authorization packages to ensure compliance with FedRAMP and agency standards, while identifying gaps and assessing risk posture. Lead architecture interviews with CSPs to validate critical control areas in design. Prepare architecture briefing documents for the Government FedRAMP program manager and CISO regarding CSP compliance and capabilities. Review CSP FedRAMP documentation comprehensively and collaborate with CSPs to address any identified gaps. Assess CSP's submissions post-3PAO audits and prepare briefings for the Government FedRAMP program manager and agency CISO. Collaborate with the agency FedRAMP Lead, providing comprehensive security engineering services. Support Continuous Monitoring activities, including reviewing annual submissions and significant change proposals. Interpret FedRAMP and agency requirements, delivering guidance to vendors on expectations and processes. Stay updated on FedRAMP guidance, industry best practices, emerging technologies, and Government cybersecurity directives, providing timely recommendations. Conduct security reviews for technologies suitable for use within CSPs' authorization boundaries. Manage vendor compliance with agency security and privacy requirements for assigned systems, whether contractor-owned or operated. Assist stakeholders in IT security-related tasks to meet project deadlines. Ensure systems are maintained, operated, and disposed of in accordance with established security policies and procedures. Research assigned IT security systems to provide insights and recommendations. This range serves as a benchmark and is not a guarantee of compensation. In addition to the base salary, comprehensive benefits are provided as detailed above.
