The expected salary range is $29.49 to $32.77, dependent on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions. Primary Purpose of Position The Journeyman Electrician Service Technician is vital to our operations, responsible for residential electrical services including troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and upgrades. You will ensure that all work complies with local and national electrical codes and is performed safely and efficiently. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Diagnose and repair electrical systems including service panels, circuits, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Install new electrical systems and upgrade existing ones to meet customer requirements and code standards. Perform residential Level 2 EV charger installations, covering site assessments, panel upgrades, and assistance with permitting. Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all relevant codes. Deliver outstanding customer service and clearly communicate with homeowners about the work performed and necessary recommendations. Complete all documentation related to service calls, including service tickets, time logs, and materials used. Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to emergency situations. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in excellent working order. Adhere to all safety protocols and internal company policies. Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience in residential electrical work. Possession of a valid State Journeyman Electrician License. In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and relevant state codes. Proficient in the use of both hand and power tools. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and customer service skills. A valid driver's license and compliance with company driving standards. Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and during overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with the installation of residential Level 2 EV chargers is a plus.
