Company : Highmark Health Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW As the Internal Audit Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in partnering with the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) and the Internal Audit leadership team to effectively manage a complex audit portfolio across the organization. Your expertise in structured governance and cross-functional teamwork will be essential for successful execution. In this role, you will oversee the planning, tracking, and reporting of the annual audit workplan, coordinate governance activities for the Audit Committee and subsidiaries, and ensure that resource and capacity planning is aligned with the goals of the audit objectives. Furthermore, you will maintain oversight of key internal reporting, manage audit dashboards, and facilitate communication with Internal Audit, executive leadership, and business partners. Accurate billing and invoicing coordination with external auditors and co-source partners will also be a key responsibility, ensuring transparency and budget alignment. Your role will extend to supporting continuous improvement within the Internal Audit function by driving process optimization, integrating data and analytics, and enabling AI initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and overall effectiveness. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with management to assemble project teams aimed at producing deliverables that meet the objectives of the corporate program. Lead project managers in developing and maintaining comprehensive plans. Organize and direct cross-functional activities to ensure successful delivery and implementation of key corporate programs and strategic initiatives. Engage with the executive sponsor and other management to gain a deep understanding of business objectives for assigned areas. Monitor the progress and financial health of projects within the corporate program, providing updates and addressing risks to maintain viability. Report to the executive team on progress and strategies. Assess potential risks to program success and develop strategies for risk mitigation. Collaborate with procurement to create and execute strategies concerning service and asset contracts. Manage vendor relationships per contract and statement of work requirements. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. EDUCATION Minimum High School Diploma / GED Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Technology Management-related field MBA or Master's Degree in Technology Management-related field EXPERIENCE Minimum 7 - 10 years of project management experience 7 - 10 years of experience delivering business solutions utilizing information technology Preferred None LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Required None Preferred PMP or Certification in Project Management SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY This role does not include supervisory responsibilities over other employees. WORK ENVIRONMENT Travel is required for this position.
