Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech Job Details:• Work 4x10 day shifts Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM• 40 hours per week guaranteed• On-call rotation required approximately 8 days per month including 1 weekend per month with 30-minute response time• Every third weekend required (5-6 total weekends in contract)• Average daily census of 7-10 patients• Floating required to sister facility 2 miles away for 1 week• 1 year of experience required, first-time travelers accepted• Required certifications: ARRT, WV State License, BLS (Vascular Intervention Certification preferred)• Work in interventional vascular radiology suite performing peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, and neuro-intervention including acute stroke and embolization• Equipment responsibilities include PACS, maintaining equipment and inventory, stocking supplies• Experience with Fluoroscopy required (Siemens and Ultrasound preferred)• Procedural responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, prep access site, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, room circulation, scrubbing and maintaining sterile field, vascular closure systems• Must maintain sterile technique and infection control standards• Blue surgical scrubs issued by hospital• Charting system: Cerner• Free parking provided for travelers Facility:This healthcare facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 total staffed beds. The facility is a member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH) and operates as a short-term acute care hospital. The interventional radiology department features state-of-the-art equipment and provides comprehensive vascular intervention services including complex procedures such as stroke intervention and advanced endovascular repairs.
