Contract Management Specialist Hybrid Work Environment: This position allows team members to work in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering a collaborative atmosphere while maintaining the flexibility needed for productivity and a balanced life. This mix of structured office engagement and remote autonomy promotes a dynamic and adaptable work setting. Alternate locations might be considered if candidates reside within a reasonable commuting distance. The Contract Management Specialist plays a crucial role in researching, drafting, filing, and implementing contracts, policy, and certificate forms for various healthcare products, including major medical, ancillary, long-term care, and HMO offerings. Your Impact: Prepare and maintain contracts and relevant documentation. Ensure compliance of contracts with state and federal regulations. Keep abreast of state and federal legislation impacting company products. Propose compliance review processes and take part in compliance initiatives. Compile and analyze data to support contract development efforts. Analyze and identify new legislation affecting company products. Research and address regulatory issues. Identify gaps in critical information. Clarify any ambiguities or contradictions in contracts. Simplify legal information into accessible narratives. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively. Minimum Requirements: A BA/BS in a relevant field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience is required; or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background. Preferred Qualifications: Legal background or paralegal experience. Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word and handling red-lined agreements. Experience with contract/document management systems. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines. Strong planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to execute tasks independently with minimal supervision. A collaborative team player who can work well with diverse management levels across the organization. For candidates working in person or virtually, the salary range for this position is $25.29 - $47.90. Locations: California; Illinois; Maryland; Massachusetts; Minnesota; Nevada; New York.
