Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Database Administrator to support and maintain production and non-production databases of significant strategic impact across our organization. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy problem-solving, we want to hear from you! Your Key Responsibilities: Utilize T-SQL performance tuning to address daily production issues. Perform configuration, scripting, installation, monitoring, upgrades, and administration for database management systems. Ensure service level agreements are met for both internal and external clients. Participate in off-hour production support and be available for a 24/7 on-call rotation. Establish and document database policies, procedures, and standards. Effectively communicate and collaborate with technical and business teams. Manage database administration tasks including backups, point-in-time restores, and maintenance plans for mission-critical applications. Support key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Implement security best practices to protect data integrity. Other related tasks as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's or associate degree with three years of database administration experience, or five years of relevant experience without a degree. Experience with Cognizant/TriZetto Facets data model or application is a plus. Strong ability to create T-SQL scripts. Highly organized and responsible with an analytical mindset. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Experience with complex SQL databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Familiarity with SQL replication and high availability architectures. Programming language knowledge is a bonus. Health care experience is advantageous. Willingness to learn new platforms, such as Job Schedulers and Open-Source Databases. Azure experience is beneficial, but not required.
