Asset Protection Specialist - Various Shifts Offered

Job Description As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will be integral to ensuring the security and safety of our distribution center. Your key responsibilities will involve managing the security desk and secured yard gate house, making certain that only authorized personnel access the facility and truck yard. You will also monitor CCTV footage for the building and surrounding trailer yard. In the event of incidents, you will be responsible for coordinating communication with local emergency responders as needed. What You'll Do Authorize access for employees, visitors, contractors, and carriers entering the facility or yard. Verify and manage all inbound and outbound shipments to guarantee accuracy. Conduct thorough inspections of employees, visitors, and contractors to effectively deter theft. Handle incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate parties. Perform CCTV surveillance tours, visual inspections, fence checks, yard audits, and respond promptly to emergencies. Prepare comprehensive shift reports, incident reports, and maintain logs for inbound and outbound activities. Ensure meticulous maintenance of all asset protection records. Basic Qualifications Willingness to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in security roles. Forklift certification.
