Job Description

The Team Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of a Krystal restaurant, aligning with the Brand's Vision, Mission, and Promise while exemplifying Krystal's Core Values. Working closely with the management team, this role ensures compliance with company standards across all operational areas, including product preparation, customer service, facilities management, and financial accountability. The Team Shift Supervisor aids the management team in selecting, training, and coaching exceptional talent to drive success in key areas: People, Customer, Sales, and Profit. Key Responsibilities: Embody Krystal's Core Values while assisting the management team in cultivating high-performing employees through effective training, retention, and recognition processes. Collaborate with the management team to implement the Performance Management process consistently, setting employees up for success and promoting accountability. Customer: Foster a customer-centric culture by resolving customer issues and partnering with the management team to train employees to meet or exceed service standards. Coach and inspire the team to excel, ensuring adherence to core operational procedures using the OSM and Company systems. Maintain food safety standards through direct observation during shifts. Sales: Work with the management team to ensure the effective execution of restaurant-level plans and marketing initiatives. Profit: Implement cash/security, inventory, labor, and food control procedures during shifts, proactively identifying and addressing any gaps. Note: The duties outlined above provide a general overview and may not encompass all responsibilities assigned to this position. Qualifications: Minimum age of 18 years. ServSafe certification is a plus. A high school diploma or GED preferred, with at least one year of restaurant management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and overnight shifts. Willingness to travel to other locations as needed.
