Our team collaborates closely with business leaders to develop strategies that identify opportunities and ensure success in today's fast-paced market environment. We conduct comprehensive gap assessments and design advanced processes to enhance asset and liability management, funding, liquidity planning, stress testing, and capital management. As a Manager of Financial Credit Risk, you will work alongside clients to create forward-thinking tools that optimize their capital and liquidity utilization while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. In this dynamic role, you will lead a committed team of problem solvers dedicated to navigating complex business challenges from strategy development to execution. Your key responsibilities will involve: Fostering professional growth and skill development within your team and effectively addressing challenges. Coaching team members to take ownership of their personal and professional development. Analyzing complex proposals and providing impactful recommendations to clients. Leveraging diverse information sources to create customized solutions. Ensuring all deliverables meet the expectations of both the firm and the client. Using data insights to guide strategic decision-making. Identifying global trends and understanding their implications for clients. Facilitating consensus among diverse viewpoints to achieve favorable outcomes. Communicating complex concepts clearly and effectively to convey key messages. As part of our Risk & Regulatory Advisory team, you will provide exceptional expertise on various credit risk management topics, including governance, credit process optimization, risk rating model development, regulatory assessments, and CECL strategies. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating, designing, and implementing credit risk strategies that empower clients to navigate significant market challenges. Job Requirements and Preferences: Basic Qualifications: Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree Minimum Years of Experience: 6 year(s) Preferred Qualifications: Degree Preferred: Master Degree Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting Preferred Knowledge/Skills: You should possess extensive abilities and a solid track record of leading projects related to credit activities and risk management, which may include: Significant experience in commercial and retail lending and credit process redesign initiatives. Expertise in managing credit risk processes, including underwriting and credit analysis. Development and validation of innovative credit risk methodologies, especially risk rating models. Execution of robust credit risk reporting and analytics within financial services. Familiarity with Allowance for Credit Loss methodologies and US GAAP under CECL. Proficiency in credit risk workflow and analytical tools. Knowledge of relevant credit regulatory guidance essential for best practices. Completion of a formal credit training program would be advantageous. Furthermore, you should demonstrate strong skills in process improvement solutions utilizing MS Office applications, while effectively collaborating with team members and building client relationships, including: A deep understanding of various loan types and their associated risk factors. The ability to present complex materials clearly and effectively to clients and senior management. Creating an innovative team environment that values diverse perspectives and promotes coaching. Communicating effectively about project milestones and engaging in consensus-building. Successfully managing both on-shore and off-shore teams to achieve project objectives. The salary range for this position is $99,000 - $232,000, with actual compensation reflecting skills and experience.
