As a Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will oversee all facets of pharmacy practice, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws as well as corporate policies. Your primary objective will be to optimize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by closely monitoring the pharmacy budget, minimizing unauthorized overtime, and fostering effective staff training and development. You will also be dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, managing prescription pricing and generic utilization, controlling pharmacy inventory, and participating in corporate-approved clinical services. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy. 2+ years of relevant retail experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Active participation in clinical programs after company-sponsored training. Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional customer service. Proven leadership abilities; must hold a valid pharmacy license in good standing. Desired Qualifications: Relevant Pharmacy Board Certifications. Experience in business management. Ability to perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and serve as a role model for the pharmacy team. Capability to handle customer complaints and efficiently manage workflow to reduce wait times. Experience supervising and coaching pharmacy staff, completing performance reviews, and providing constructive feedback. Able to comply with corporate mandated controlled substance operating procedures. This role requires monitoring third-party insurance profitability, guiding pharmacy teams to meet budget objectives, and promoting public health initiatives. You may also be required to travel independently to support business needs and maintain necessary pharmacy records as mandated by state and federal law.
