We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARYThe Facility Maintenance Team Member will assist with the daily maintenance of the facility's building and grounds. Position will be geared toward working in various areas throughout the facility and responsibilities including but not limited to events, crowd control and implementing and following facility emergency procedures, safety guidelines and company polices for patrons and employees. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Function cooperatively with Operations, Facility and Maintenance departmentsWork with contractors as necessaryFollow all manuals, processes and procedures for housekeeping, operations, guest services and maintenance, and maintain OSHA complianceProvide knowledgeable guest service to guests while having awareness of the guest and community needsCommunicate facility maintenance/housekeeping needs to Facilities ManagerUnderstand and carry out facility policies and proceduresAssist with opening/closing facility on a daily basisMaintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facilityInventory, organize, and stock closets, toolboxes and maintenance areasAssist with cleaning schedule around daily activitiesAssist with building internals (sprinkler systems, HVAC systems, alarm systems, etc.)Assist in utilities management (lights, temperature controls, heaters, etc)Maintain and repair playing surfacesSchedule and perform maintenance on facility equipmentCoordinate with Facilities Manager on facility repairs to avoid conflictsAll other duties as assigned by management GROUNDS MAINTENANCE: Monitor overall appearance and cleanliness of the buildingCoordinate maintenance and repair work with Facility Manager for maximum usage of retail, restaurant and dorm areasMonitor all walkways and flower beds and keep clear of weeds, grass, trash, water, ice, etc.Assist with dorm maintenance plan/log, including but not limited to the repair/cleaningOperate and maintain sports equipmentAssist in maintenance of trees, shrubbery and flower bedsOperate machinery to include but not limited to all equipmentClean and maintain parking lotKeep inventory of supplies and equipment as well as maintenance logsFollow up with guests to learn how the facility can be improvedComplete special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager and Facilities Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of commercial facilities inclusive of HVAC, electrical, suppression systems and kitchen equipment not required, but helpfulExperience working with sports facilities and associated grounds and equipment not required but helpfulAbility to think quickly and rationally in times of emergency to prevent further problemsGeneral knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscapingExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skillsMust be a team player with a positive can-do attitudeExcellent communication skillsMust be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidaysMust be able to obtain CPR/FIRST AID certifications within a specific time periodDrivers Licenses WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendPushing/pulling/lifting 50 poundsAbility to navigate around the facility for long periods of timeAbility to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. lift for scoreboards, etc.)Facility has intermittent noiseAbility to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays
