The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong leadership background, dedicated to upholding the values of exceptional care, accountability, and results. This role is pivotal in supporting the mission and vision of the institution, particularly in the areas of high-quality curricular delivery, academic planning, and academic assessment. The Associate Provost will be responsible for the strategic direction, budget, staffing, and structure of various academic units, as well as for overseeing academic assessment processes and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. Collaboration with academic leaders and staff is essential to foster a culture of data-informed decision-making and to facilitate planning and assessment processes related to institutional effectiveness. Applicants must have a terminal degree and a minimum of 3 years' teaching experience at the college or university level, with a strong preference for those with a background in academic leadership and accreditation. The role requires in-depth knowledge of higher education accountability regulations, accreditation standards, and assessment practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in management, project coordination, and the ability to make data-informed decisions. Strong communication skills, the ability to build productive relationships, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards are also essential. The Associate Provost will serve as the Accreditation Liaison Officer, leading institutional accreditation processes and ensuring that the campus community is well-informed about accreditation-related issues.
