About the Role The Federal Solutions Consultant is a key player in shaping strategies and operational frameworks for federal customers and internal executive teams. This role connects executive vision with mission execution, offering trusted advisory support in areas such as unified communications architecture, cloud collaboration, program management, security compliance, and expansive federal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pre-sales solution architecture, federal acquisition processes, IT and security operations, enterprise collaboration platforms, and senior program management. This individual is skilled at translating mission needs into compliant and scalable technical solutions while also steering go-to-market strategies, managing high-impact programs, and influencing key stakeholders in government and industry. This position is vital for accelerating federal sales cycles, enhancing win rates, assuring compliance with standards such as FedRAMP and RMF, and leading complex programs from inception to execution. About the Team We specialize in strategic advisory and technological solutions designed to speed up federal sales cycles and ensure that collaboration platforms comply with critical mission requirements. Our team plays an essential role in linking executive strategy with operational success, working alongside government entities, vendors, and internal stakeholders to create scalable UC and cloud solutions. We are committed to converting intricate federal requirements into successful outcomes that positively impact win rates, customer trust, and program achievements. Responsibilities Serve as a senior strategic advisor to executive leadership, federal customers, and internal stakeholders. Translate high-level objectives into practical technical and program roadmaps as the bridge between executive strategy and operational execution. Lead customer discovery sessions to gather insights on missions, customer needs, use cases, and security and operational requirements. Provide scalable solutions using Avaya TDM, Cisco UC (CUCM, Webex Calling, Webex Meetings, Contact Center), Zoom Phone, and more. Design and support FedRAMP-authorized collaboration and cloud calling solutions, ensuring conformance with RMF, IA, DoD, and federal security protocols. Support UC product strategy and market initiatives for federal offerings, creating operational workflows, enablement content, and promotional materials. Collaborate with vendors, product teams, and sales leadership on new product development and launches. Present solutions to executive and senior government stakeholders, aiding federal business development efforts. Work with sales teams to expedite deal cycles and enhance technical win rates. Provide technical oversight on opportunities, including forecast input and risk assessments. Create system diagrams, architectures, and engineering documentation, fostering cooperation among government entities, contractors, partners, and internal teams. What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in Unified Communications, Collaboration, or Voice Architecture. Extensive pre-sales engineering experience in federal and enterprise settings. Strong expertise in Unified Communications & Collaboration, Federal IT, Security, and Project Management. Experience in federal, DoD, and intelligence community environments. In-depth knowledge of Cisco UC & Webex platforms, Zoom Phone, VoIP, and cloud calling. Demonstrated leadership in managing large, cross-functional teams in government and contractor settings. Understanding of FedRAMP, RMF, IA, and federal security frameworks and acquisition processes (EIS preferred). Salary Range:Minimum: $167,300.00; Maximum: $366,100.00. Note: Salary will be determined by multiple factors including qualifications and experience. We also employ a location-based compensation structure, meaning there could be variation in salary based on geographical location.
