JOB TITLE:         Driver - Warehouse LaborWORK LOCATION: St Louis officeDEPARTMENT: Shipping and ReceivingSUPERVISOR:    Warehouse SupervisorJOB CLASSIFICATION: Full time, nonexemptSUMMARY:      Make local deliveries and assist the Warehouse Supervisor with warehouse dutiesDRIVER DUTIES:              Make local deliveries, load and secure truck with product, always secure truck gates before pulling outWork with Supervisor to schedule deliveriesKeep all required logs and maintenance recordsWork with Supervisor to schedule maintenance of delivery truckKeep delivery truck clean and presentable at all timesWAREHOUSE LABOR:Be knowledgeable of products and product packagingKnow procedures for both receiving and shipping using common carriersAssist Supervisor with his duties when not drivingKnow how to process bill of ladings for out bound shipmentsAssist in keeping all equipment properly stored. Help keep warehouse, parts area, and demo area clean.Report any building damage, leaks, breakage to SupervisorKeep warehouse, parts area, and demo area clean.Yard (front and back by tracks) to be moved and trimmed; grounds and parking lots to be kept clean.OTHER RESPONSIBILITES:Assist Supervisor preparing for annual physical inventoryWhen the Warehouse Supervisor is on vacation or otherwise out of the office, it is your responsibility to oversee the warehouseREQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:Minimum education required is a high school diplomaDriver's license required: Class B with air brake endorsementCDLNeeds to be forklift certifiedMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 poundsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyMust be able to maintain a positive attitude while working with customers, vendors and coworkersAbility to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within given instructions and guidelinesKnowledge of relevant computer applicationsAbility to accurately type
