Embedded Software Engineer (C++/RTOS) position in Fort Worth, TX. US Citizenship is required for this position Active / Current Secret Security Clearance IS REQUIRED to apply for this position Working four 10-hour days with every Friday off (4/10 work schedule) Work will be 100% onsite Job Description: Applicant will be a software developer responsible for embedded software definition, design, development and integration to support real-time embedded avionics software projects. The applicant will be responsible for designing, coding, testing and integrating software. Develop, analyze, integrate, and test embedded software for the Fusion team. Contribute to software requirements, design, code, reviews, and test of operational flight programs. Modeling and simulation efforts. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment. Good presentation skills. Basic Qualifications: -- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++ -- Real Time Operating System (RTOS) experience - (Windows & Linux) -- Standard teaming: Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams -- Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test -- Active Secret Clearance Desired Skills: -- Knowledge of Agile Software Development -- Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- Knowledge of Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) -- Previous experience designing to software requirements Manager open to Level 3 (10+ years of experience) and Level 4 (16+ years of experience) with comparable pay rate expectations. Level 3 pay rate expectation should be $95-$105 REQUIRED SKILLS: 10+ years of hands on C++ development. 5+ years of Visual Studio experience. 5+ years of Linux experience. 5+ years of Link-16 experience. Algorithm development and background is a plus. Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance Comments: Active SECRET with an investigation in the last 5 years or CE enrollment.
