As an Actuary specializing in Analytics and Forecasting, you will play a key role in transforming essential data into actionable insights that drive meaningful strategic decisions within our organization. This role is pivotal for analyzing industry trends and understanding the competitive landscape to aid in accurately forecasting financial performance over various time frames. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring the integrity of our data by developing and implementing robust data management processes and controls. By partnering with diverse stakeholders, you will identify business needs, analyze complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and present effective solutions for any data discrepancies. Your analyses will empower our executives to create tailored functional strategies for different segments. Primary Responsibilities: Lead and refine the ESRD claims forecasting process. Validate input assumptions and outputs of the ESRD forecast to guarantee accuracy. Effectively communicate ESRD forecast outcomes to business partners. Examine emerging trends in ESRD member experiences to pinpoint influences on change. Bring Your Expertise to Make a Difference! Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries (FSA or ASA) along with relevant advanced degrees or professional certifications. Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) Strong communication and organizational skills. Experience across multiple actuarial functions such as modeling, pricing, reporting & analysis, and reserving. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in technical skills, especially SQL, VBA, and Databricks/Python. Experience with Individual Medicare Advantage programs. Familiarity with the ESRD population. Additional Details: This position offers the flexibility of remote work, but you may occasionally need to travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Compensation: The anticipated starting base salary for this full-time position ranges from $129,300 to $177,800 per year, depending on geographic location, as well as your individual skills and experience. There may also be opportunities for performance-based bonus incentives.
