The City of Lakeland School-to-Work Program has partnered with departments throughout the City to offer career shadowing opportunities. There is a limited number of spots available. Applications will be reviewed and assignments made on a first-come, first-served basis. To be considered for a spot, an application must be submitted in its entirety. Required questions have a red asterisk () beside the question number. Applicants will receive confirmation of their assignment and the liability waiver to be signed by a parent/guardian through email. Once the applicant has returned all paperwork, they will receive an email with instructions for the day (Location, Site Contact information, etc.) Transportation to and from the site location is the responsibility of the parent/guardian/student. QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE) Students must be enrolled in 7th grade or higher at McKeel Academy of Technology.
