Job Description: Position Details: Training Pay: Guaranteed $1,500/week. After training: Average $100,000 Annually Varying schedule. Primary Responsibilities: Engage with customers, vendors, and colleagues professionally to address inquiries promptly and accurately. Collaborate as a team member to fulfill company duties effectively. Conduct pre/post trip safety checks and inspections of the vehicle and trailer according to DOT regulations. Report safety issues and necessary repairs promptly. Adhere to all DOT regulations and company driving policies for safety. Identify and report hazards immediately, ensuring trailer load security. Perform checks on loaded items and review customer invoices for discrepancies. Complete all requisite paperwork accurately and legibly. Position the tractor at the loading dock and attach preloaded trailers when applicable. Follow designated routes to deliver customer orders punctually. Unload goods, delivering them to specified storage locations within the customer’s facility. Monitor for product damages, scanning items, and consulting with supervisors as per policy. Confirm delivery with customers and obtain necessary signatures. Process cash or check payments when required and secure customer returns in the trailer. Ensure all equipment is secured at the end of the day. Unload damaged goods and returns properly, completing corresponding paperwork. Maintain daily records of service hours in compliance with DOT and company regulations. Maintain cleanliness in the tractor, loading area, and trailers as needed. Secure all equipment and finalize paperwork at shift end. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required 12+ months of commercial driving experience Valid CDL-A required Must be at least 21 years old Fulfill state licensing and certification requirements (as applicable) Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check Pass a road test Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one Capable of lifting and utilizing equipment to handle product cases of varying sizes and weights throughout the shift; lifting up to 90 pounds may be expected depending on location.
