Join Our Team as a Merchandising Services Manager Are you a natural leader with a passion for retail and customer service? We are seeking a Merchandising Services Manager to inspire and lead our team of Merchandising Service Associates (MSAs) in achieving project goals while upholding our merchandising service strategy. Key Responsibilities Motivate and guide a team of MSAs to excel in project execution and merchandising service strategies. Effectively schedule team resources to ensure smooth project operations. Provide direction on project priorities while equipping MSAs with necessary materials and schedules for peak performance. Deliver comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching to enhance team skills. Evaluate and improve MSA performance through structured feedback and personalized development plans. Handle disciplinary actions thoughtfully, working with HR as required. Manage project budgeting, travel, and payroll to align with overall company objectives. Proactively identify and resolve project-related challenges using available resources. Communicate project updates clearly and effectively to store teams and corporate leaders. Continuously search for ways to enhance efficiency and merchandising practices across the organization. Oversee the merchandising of live goods within garden centers, leading teams of 11-21 associates. Collaborate with Field Project Managers on larger third-party labor projects when necessary. Customer Service Deliver outstanding customer service in alignment with Lowe's standards and policies. Engage with customers to assess their needs and assist them with merchandise selection and loading. Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and employees, providing guidance within the store. Show appreciation to customers, creating a positive shopping experience. Share detailed product information, including stock availability and warranty details. Support team members in providing excellent customer service by offering the necessary tools and resources. Ensure pricing accuracy and signage compliance through efficient daily price changes. In-stock Management Ensure merchandise is stocked and displayed according to planograms and company standards. Verify the accuracy of signage, pricing, and product details. Guarantee that displays and resets meet Lowe's specifications and safety regulations. Partner with receiving teams to streamline the staging process for product resets. Manage the handling of buyback items efficiently and ensure they are prepared for shipping. Oversee the proper handling of damaged products. Clean and Safe Stores Identify and report any signs of shoplifting or security risks. Maintain a clean and organized store environment that aligns with housekeeping standards. Ensure a safe workplace by conducting safety reviews and addressing any hazards. Follow all safety procedures relevant to the role, utilizing required safety equipment and practices. Utilize store equipment necessary for daily operations. Ensure point-of-sale signage is accurate, with correct locator and price changes activated. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience. 2 years of customer service or retail experience in a fast-paced environment (1 year of experience at Lowe's preferred). 1 year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role. Preferred Qualifications Experience in coaching, training, and evaluating team performance. Strong merchandising background, including knowledge of planograms and display setups. Experience with power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
