The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and leading a comprehensive thematic-based enrichment program for children aged 5 to 12. This role requires the ability to create and implement engaging activities that align with the company's objectives and curriculum, as well as the regulations set forth by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services. The Head of Group will also be a key figure in providing a safe, healthy, and fun environment for the children, fostering the growth of character values, and serving as a positive role model. Applicants must have a High School diploma or equivalent, with substantial experience working with children under 13 years of age. The role demands excellent organizational and communication skills, a mature and responsible approach, and a sincere interest in working with people. The Head of Group will be expected to complete various training and certification programs, including CPR, AED, and First Aid, and to maintain a minimum of 30 hours of training every 2 years. The position is pivotal in the company's mission to strengthen the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, and the Head of Group will play a significant role in building strong relationships with parents and ensuring a high-quality experience for all program participants.
