This role plays a critical part in managing incoming payments, maintaining customer account accuracy, and supporting cash flow in a fast-paced construction environment.If you have solid accounts receivable experience and take pride in accuracy, follow-through, and strong customer communication, we would love to meet you.What You'll DoIn this role, you will manage the day-to-day accounts receivable functions that ensure timely and accurate cash flow. Responsibilities include: Preparing and issuing customer invoices based on contract terms and project milestones Posting customer payments (ACH, checks, credit cards) accurately and timely Monitoring accounts for past-due balances and following up on outstanding invoices Communicating professionally with customers regarding billing questions and payment status Reconciling customer accounts and resolving discrepancies Applying payments and credits correctly within QuickBooks Assisting with monthly AR aging reports and cash flow tracking Supporting lien waivers and documentation related to construction billing Maintaining organized AR documentation (digital and physical files) Collaborating with project managers and internal teams to ensure billing accuracy Your work will directly impact the company's cash flow, customer relationships, and financial reporting accuracy.What We're Looking ForWe are seeking someone with direct accounts receivable experience who understands the importance of detail, consistency, and proactive follow-up.Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of hands-on accounts receivable experience Experience managing invoicing, payment posting, and collections Proficiency in QuickBooks Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Clear and professional communication skills Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines Preferred: Construction or job-cost billing experience Experience with progress billing or milestone-based invoicing Experience working in a fast-paced office environment Work EnvironmentThis is an office-based role located in Piedmont, SC. You will work closely with accounting staff, project managers, and customers.
